What is Ekphrasis?

This is a blog to discuss and encourage poets to write ekphrasis, or ekphrastic poetry - poetry in response to art. I will be posting artwork to respond to in comments as well as poetry from various sources, including the Lesley M.F.A. interdisciplinary studies program.
